Title: Vultures in Niagara
Post by: Henrique Pacheco on February 28, 2015, 08:32:27 PM
Awesome day in Niagara today with 7 year birds including: Fish Crow, Red-Headed Woodpecker, and Black Vulture. I only got photos of the Black Vultures. They were a happy accident.

Sweet! These vultures hate me - I haven't seen them since January 2013 despite looking probably 20+ times!

Wow!  8 Black Vultures in Ontario is incredible.  At first I thought this was a photo montage!

Thanks Reuven and Brian! Yea these guys were a complete fluke. I only saw them when we were in the car, reversing out of the parking spot to leave. We also had a young Lesser Black-Backed Gull flying beneath them which suddenly didn't seem as important. This is the most I've seen in a day in Ontario.
