Title: Skunk

There was a skunk walking leisurely along the street in broad daylight this morning just after 8 am. I have never seen one being out in the open during the day like that.

Yeah I usually see them at night as well.  The one I saw during the day was clearly injured (run over by car I think) but I did not dare risk trying to rescue him.

Yeah

last Thursday  at 5:00 am I encountered a skunk on my walk to the Go bus stop.

Harmless, it scurried off between the houses on the street.

More interesting was the reaction of my dog  on Monday morning (daylight savings day 1) when she went nose to nose with a Racoon in our back yard at 4:30 am
