Title: Are These Common Redpolls Part 2
Post by: Tak on March 09, 2015, 01:56:09 PM
Here's the final Redpoll which I don't know if anyone can tell which type it is.

Opinions from experienced birders are greatly appreciated. I suspect it will take me a few more winters and a lot more Redpolls for me to learn how to tell them apart at a glance!

I think this is also a Common, based on the normal looking bill size. A Hoary should have a smaller bill; some people describe it as a "pushed in face" look.
