Title: Col Sam Smith Park-March 10
Post by: Irene on March 18, 2015, 08:56:25 PM
On March 10 I had the pleasure of running into and joining Molebird and a few other wonderful people for a lovely afternoon of birding. It was a real pleasure seeing everyone and it was a lot of fun
we saw far out in the lake, scoters (not sure if the surf scoters were in that bunch, greater scaup, and the usual ducks, 3 snowy owls, one of the owls landed on the rocks near us while we were going to check out the others on the ice. Lucky us!
the Harlequin Duck was no where in sight.

Beautiful shots Irene (also of the scoters).  It was a lovely day and we were happy to have run into you.
