Title: Gulls, Bluffer's Park
Post by: noam markus on March 23, 2015, 02:41:38 PM
Saw these gulls today at Bluffer's Park. The close one looks like an Iceland Gull. Is the other a Thayer's Gull? Did not look as big as a Herring Gull, legs were quite dark and lots of brown spotting on the head and neck. Thanks.

Iceland and Herring Gull. Thayer's would have paler primary undersides, larger white primary tips and generally a dark eye and different head shape.
