Title: First Red-winged Blackbird of the year

Last Friday (the first official day of Spring) I heard my first Red-winged blackbird along the Humber River. Unfortunately I didn't see it but it's nice to know they're making their way back.

A lovely start to Spring!

They're always fine until the females show up - then they peck people's heads, dogs, squirrels, etc.   :shock:  Nothing is safe.   :lol:
