Today at Downsview I saw this lone bird scavenging. I suspect that it's a Raven, however, the wedge shape of the tail doesn't always show up in the photos. For example, the first three are consecutive sequences as the bird flew by. Seq#2 shows a nice wedge, however, in the other two photos it's not obvious. The last one does show a bit of shagginess around his neck. Help will be appreciated.

I reported a couple of Raven's at Downsview a few months back.
Very easy ID when they Croak instead of CAW.
Where were they? I am there everyday.

I am inside the fence. Downsview airport :)
Oh, and I reported the Ravens last August.

I found him near the big open area where large flocks of Canada Geese roam, just east of the big pond and south of the wood lot area. He was flying around foraging for dead voles - neither croaking nor cawing. I saw a Raven at Downsview last year around this time - they are probably nesting somewhere close by. It is nice to see them around in an urban setting.
