Title: Durham Region: White-fronted Goose
Post by: raypye on February 17, 2008, 08:02:45 AM
I did some birding in eastern Durham Region on Saturday, February 17. At Bond Head (Port of Newcastle) there were 6 Greater White-fronted Geese and 1 Graylag/Chinese Goose hybred. There were a couple of small flocks of Snow Buntings east of Bond Head near the RR tracks on Conc 1 and Lakeshore Road. The largest flock of Wild Turkeys (116) was on Clark/Darlington Townline north of Taunton Road.
