Hi everyone. Yesterday, sighted 6 Mourning Cloak butterflies (1 large, 5 smaller but all 6 in perfect condition) - earliest in the year that I've ever seen any butterflies!
Maplewood Park: East side of Glen Erin Dr. about 1 1/2 blocks North of Aquitaine Ave.
Park co-ordinates: 43.5899-79.7599

Hi winz. Did you see more than one? I saw 6 at Maplewood Park last Sunday.
Side note: So many birds at Lake Wabukayne today. Wow! Did you see the Black-crowned Night Herons? :D

Only saw one Mourning Cloak. I missed the Black-crowned Night-Herons :( . I posted my list on ebird.
