When I left the park at 6:15 there were 4 Bonaparte's gulls near the shore - 1 @ the mouth of the marina, 2 off the 'stone beach' and 1 straight ahead from the parking lot on the lake. Also 2 Fox Sparrows, a Towhee, a Field Sparrow, 10+ Northern Rough-winged Swallows, Hermit Thrush, and Kingfisher. 1 Iceland gull and horned and red-necked grebes in the marina.

Very few gulls near the park this morning - perhaps they come in for a rest in the early evening? There was however a beautiful Pine Warbler singing in the trees above the feeders at the west end of the park. Oh and a Purple Martin gave me a nice fly-over in the parking lot! -kris :)
