Normal Range: Breeds from British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and northern Minnesota, south to California, northern Mexico, Louisiana, and Alabama. Spends winters from southern California to Florida and southward.

Nikon D50 w/80-400VR
Handheld, with late evening natural light.
Bird spent most of the time feeding on the ground and didn't like other sparrow species around its area.

There's a bit of info about past sightings on Mike Burrell's blog at http://mikeburrell.blogspot.ca/2015/04/ ... arrow.html (http://mikeburrell.blogspot.ca/2015/04/kingston-lark-sparrow.html). He says 5 records a year in southern Ontario is not unusual.
Your photos show it's sure worth paying attention to every sparrow. No telling what you may find!
