Title: Help to identify Duck ID

Please help to identify following 2 types shore birds

I'm sure it's just a typo, but he means Ring Necked for #1. Apparently they have a brown colour at the neck which shows up great when a hunter is holding the limp body. We all use the ring on the bill to id them from a distance easily.
