Title: ID please
Post by: dizzy on May 03, 2015, 09:28:04 AM
Hi,

I found this one in the Wet Woods. It looks like a Nashville warbler or even a orange crowned warbler. Sorry no photo of the head profile.

Thanks for looking.

Yellow undertail coverts indicates Palm or Orange-crowned Warbler. The lack of streaking point towards Orange-crowned, but I'm not completely sure.

The angle is making it tough but I'm leaning more towards Palm. Palm is more likely and it looks too brown for Orange-crowned. Also the pale fringes on the greater coverts and median coverts.
