Title: Sharp-shinned Hawk vs Coopers Hawk
Post by: ghostbear on May 06, 2015, 10:38:24 AM
I am thinking a sharp-shinned hawk. Any help would be appreciated!

I would agree with Sharp-shinned given the long exposed yellow legs.  I'm no expert though.

Definitely a Sharp-Shinned Hawk.  The head and neck has a more hooded look than capped and you don't see the graduated tail feathers that would be seen on Coopers.
