Title: Unidentified in Durham - Taunton Rd

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone can identify the birds that are often seen on the north side of Taunton Road between Altona and the York/Durham Border. They seem to be in a protected area that includes rather large nests grouped together high in a stand of trees. They look like vultures of some kind?
