Title: Earl Bales Park, indigo buntings, orioles and more
Post by: Howieh on May 14, 2015, 09:27:58 PM
I spent a couple of hours in Earl Bales lower park Thursday afternoon. The orioles are back and giving good looks near the parking lot (enter off Sheppard east of Bathurst). In addition to the usual suspects (cardinals, chickadees and robins) I also saw indigo buntings, rose breasted grosbeaks, goldfinches, several yellow warblers and a northern mocking bird (didn't get a good look at the mocker but he had more voices than Rich Little!). :)
