We saw this Flycatcher in Thickson's Woods.
Although hard to see in the picture, it has a pale yellow throat and some yellow on it's front as well.
We are not sure which flycatcher this might be (Yellow-bellied? - we expected more yellow).
Thanks

Olive-sided a Flycatcher I think the yellow is more of a lighting reflection. Yellow -bellied do not have the dark sided breasts but it may be first year bird . I have seen juvenile YB with darker sides on the breast.

No that I look again I'm not so sure. I will let others weigh in. Shadows can be tricky

I think it's an Olive-sided: dark "vest", dark face with virtually no eye-ring, pale throat. I suspect the lighting makes it look greener than it really is.

It feels more like an Eastern Wood-Pewee to me, they can also have a vested look, but with less contrast and more even width of the opening compared to the Olive-sided in the other Bird ID post.

I agree with pee wee. The vest looks too subtle for an olive-sided.

And the head and what we can see of the wings are fairly pale, the whole lower mandible is pale. Yeah, probably just a Pewee. Another photo might help.
