A male Wood Duck has been present in the pond at Woodbine Park for some time now. He is deeply in love with a female Mallard, and follows her around everywhere. A Male Mallard is present as well, but the Wood Duck chases him away when he gets too close to the female. It's fun to watch the convoy go around the pond, with the female Mallard in the lead, the Wood Duck closely following, and the Male Mallard trailing behind. Very cute.

It's very likely the same Wood Duck that's been in love with the same Mallard female for a couple of years now at Ashbridges Bay. Woodbine Park is just across the street so it would make sense that they hang out there as well.
