Title: Atlantic Puffin
Post by: Paul O'Toole on July 19, 2015, 09:03:13 PM
Elliston, Newfoundland 18 July 2015
Sunny but strong winds at 60 kph aross this deep gourge made shooting fun but a bit of a challenge.

Great shots - I particularly like the one near the nest/burrow.

A beautiful set of photos - are they taken from higher elevation?

Yes ontop of some fairly tall cliffs well above sea level.

#1 bird on my list of birds that I've never seen before.  I so want to visit Newfoundland!   :D

Puffins are so cute and they have a cute name too.  So many cool birds I want to see out east.
