Title: Re: What is endemic species?
Post by: Brian Bailey on November 10, 2015, 12:32:14 PM
Endemic refers to species that are only found in a particular geographic location.  I'm hard pressed to think of a bird or even a mammal that is truly endemic to Canada.  Endemics are often associated with isolated geographic locations.  Australia and New Zealand have lots of endemic species - sometimes whole endemic families.

This is spam, although a little more sensical than most.

It did seem like a bizarre question from someone who claimed to be studying zoology! I suppose if I had checked to see where the link was pointing... Much better spelling and grammar than I usually see in scams.
