Snowies are one of the birds on my list...and it kills me that you GTA'ers see so many lol.....

I see Harriers often...I love spotting them as they glide through the cedar bush...usually birds of prey are over open fields....but the harriers can navigate the trees...silent and nimble

Great pix !

Harriers are probably restricted to open areas more than any other raptor, and certainly don't fly through forests. You're probably seeing Sharp-shinned or Cooper's Hawks.

Thanks for the comments. The Snowy Owls and Northern Harriers are usually short term visitors at the Park. You have to be always looking for them at this time of year. Last week another uncommon winter visitor popped up. An American Coot!

Those feet/toes really freak me out!     Usually see American Coot at Lakefront Promenade Park by the marina.
