Title: Killdeer, Milton
Post by: Napper on March 07, 2016, 12:15:43 PM
I was out front  with our pooch enjoying the weather when I heard the call of a Killdeer as it flew by.

There are some Robins about but they have been around all Winter.
Cardinals have been singing for the last week DE Junco's are singing or trilling away. I don't know how else to describe their spring time call.

I assume some killdeer may have overwintered?

Napper :)

p.s. not enjoying the mud  :(

Not enjoying the skunks either   Every morning the last few weeks  have to avoid them walking to the Go bus.
