Amongst the usual over-wintering birds I was thrilled to see and hear a few Red-winged Blackbirds and a Common Grackle this afternoon. I've noticed a few reports of blackbirds showing up around the GTA today. Spring is coming!
Lots of House Sparrows there as well today, most I've ever seen in 8 years of birding at Rosetta.
Good birding!

Hey Walter,
I hope your having a great winter. Wondering if the Titmouse is still around. No recent ebird reports.
Take care.

Hey Mike,
No idea, I've only been to the park once in the past two months. I'm guessing that it's moved on.

I used to live at Kipling/Eglinton from 1983-1989 and had a teacher in Etobicoke with the last name Shewchuk way back in 1979-1980.
