Title: Male RWBBs at Lake Aquitaine
Post by: Bird Brain on March 09, 2016, 11:14:28 AM
Hi everyone.  Male Red-winged Blackbirds are back at Lake Aquitaine, trilling up a storm!  Thankfully no female RWBBs are here yet so no head pecking happening.

Also sighted:

Canada Geese
Cardinal x 1 (male)
Chipping Sparrow x 1
House Sparrows
Starlings

I was out jogging at Indian Summer Park yesterday and saw and heard lots of RWBB.  That Chipping Sparrow is a bit early.  I doubt it wintered here.
