Title: Eurasian Wigeon
Post by: Dinusaur on March 20, 2016, 07:26:12 PM
As John mentioned in another post the bird was seen today in Embayment C at Tommy Thomson Park - it was with a few other ducks and only visible when it swam across a narrow opening between the reeds. This is a lifer for me - two lifers in two days; am I on a roll or what. The second picture shows an American Wigeon and presumably a gadwall in flight with the Eurasian. If it were not for Noam, Zeny and John I would probably be still looking for the bird all over Cell C.

Nice pics Dinu!
The bird was a little too far out for me to get a good shot.
