Title: Sandhill Crane
Post by: wanchan on March 23, 2016, 07:09:33 PM
I got a chance to go to Cambridge Grass Lake for birding on March 22 morning and lucky to meet 2 Sandhill Cranes. Here are the photos for sharing.

Very nice. I heard about Grass Lake and Sandhill cranes - do they nest there?

I am not sure Dinusaur, but I do found these birds reported on ebird in this area at least 3 consecutively years.

Yes the birds do nest there.  It is also a great spot for grassland species like bobolink, meadowlark and grasshopper sparrow
