Title: Sparrow?

Hi, I'm a neophyte watcher, lost other than the very obvious birds.  I think it is a sparrow but I'm still at the point where they all look the same to me.
Bancroft area.  It was by itself in a treetop, drew my attention with a noisy call I hadn't heard in the yard before.  
The brown streaks and the brown line behind the eye make me guess Song Sparrow.
