I was lucky to see it mid-afternoon today and I know a friend was able to find it again sometime after 4:00 pm. It seems that the bird spent most of the day working the tops of the trees along the shoreline on the east side of the marina, sometimes in or near the big yellow willow trees. Only very occasionally would it come down to the grasses. I did not hear it sing or call while I was there. Fingers crossed it stays at least another day!

Sadly, a FLAP volunteer found a Golden-winged Warbler dead from a window  strike in Scarborough. I'm thinking, this may well be the  same bird seen recently. The first species at risk found for FLAP.
