Title: Red-eyed Vireo? Nope.
Post by: BetCrooks on May 08, 2016, 03:54:00 PM
eBird seems doubtful that I could have seen a red-eyed vireo today, but that's what I thought this was. (There were also the pale plain warbling vireos at the park.)
Should I report this early bird or is it something else?

It may be an early date for them to return.

I think it could be a Tennessee Warbler.

I think you're right that it's a Tennessee. The under tail is not yellow or green and the facial markings are too pale which I had thought was due to the poor lighting. Thanks!
