Title: Cerulean and Red-headed Woodpecker at Thickson's Woods
Post by: Steve Hood on May 14, 2016, 09:46:40 PM
Today in the middle of the woods a few of us saw a Red-headed Woodpecker around 5pm.  He was jumping from tree to tree.  A few birders including myself saw a female Cerulean Warbler in the loop just inside the woods.  She has been there since yesterday.

Very nice; your persistence paid off. I arrived a little late and missed both. That place was full of spring migrants yesterday. I guess strong winds drove them deeper inside.
