Saw this guy yesterday at Tommy Thompson. I think it's a spotted sandpiper, but it's beak is very orange so I thought I'd check in case there's a similar bird I'm unaware of. Can you identify him for us? Thank you

Spotted Sandpiper.  Bill is orange in breeding season and with the backlighting shows up well.

Ah! That explains it! There seems to be no end to the facts we don't know about birds … and we're glad of it!
