Hello there,
From Thailand, I am scheduled to visit NFLD, NS, and ending my journey in Toronto. I will have time in Toronto between July 23rd - 30th. I am travelling alone. For an amateur like me, birding with a local and see new, exotic species unseen in Thailand will be a big bonus for me.
I am SHOCKED to learn from the Toronto Ornithological Club that July is a VERY LOW time of year. Worse, there are absolutely NO outings in July!! :'(
Besides the Black-crowned Night-Heron, Cattle Egret, and introduced species like Starling, I do not have any target species.
Therefore, I DESPERATELY want to join any unofficial/informal outing/gathering in the GTA during the said time period, if any. Or go with a local and get to know new birding friends. If anyone could offer me such opportunity, I would appreciate it sooo much.
Regards,
pong
