Over the past 8 days we've counted 221 Monarch butterflies passing through Rosetta McClain Gardens in Toronto's east end. Although they appear to be early this year, this is wonderful to see as this has not been a great season for butterflies in general mostly due to the drought we've experienced. Also of note, today at around 3pm the sky over Rosetta filled with dragonflies on the move.
