The barn where I board my horse in the Erin area was filled with Barn Swallows this summer. Lovely!!!!! Apparently, as I have not seen it, there is a one that missed the flight south or is a straggler. The owner is worried and wondered if anything can be done to help it. I have not talked to her, but I think it would eventually go on its own, as the weather cools and the bugs are disappearing.
Any advice etc much appreciated.
