Title: What am I?

Photo taken last summer in Hilton Head Island, S.C.
Does not look like a warbler based on beak, not sure what it is?

I haven't been able to find any South Carolina birds matching this one. By the bill it looks like a Grosbeak or similar, but it doesn't fit at all with the Blue or Rose-breasted Grosbeaks occurring in S.C.

Could it be an escapee? Saffron Finch?

It's a Weaver of some variety. Definitely an escape.
