Northern Goshawk in Carleton Park, Brampton at 9:20 am today. I have seen them here before around this time of the year but was never lucky enough to photograph one until now (even though I was not prepared for photography). If you come you can park about half way around Floribunda Crescent. There is a catwalk that leads into the park. The bird was spotted in the south end of the park. Listening for an upset Cooper's Hawk, upset crows and upset squirrels is a good strategy to finding it. It's still out there now as I can hear the commotion. If you find it be a good sport and keep your distance.

There are 2 Northern Goshawks in Carleton Park. Saw them together this morning. I am assuming a male and a female since one is noticeably larger. Perhaps siblings?
