It's always interesting to spot a Great Blue Heron, more interesting when you spot one in January. Actually I am not that surprised, as long as 16 mile creek in Milton is flowing there is usually one around.
I spotted my first GBH of 2017 today flying in an East direction from the area of the creek.

I spotted one on January 12th up here...flying south....

Yesterday before supper 4 male Grackles in the tree across the street
Yesterday after supper Great Blue Heron flying over house heading North
There are a few robins, but I think they are still the winter Robins,
