Made a quick stop in the Wet Woods area yesterday night and saw a great deal of migrants, such as Grackles, Red-Winged Blackbirds, Killdeer, two Great Blue Herons flying over, and an Eastern Phoebe flycatching along the shore at Unwin. Also there was a male Harlequin Duck associating with a small group of Buffleheads. Unfortunately they all flew off when we tried getting a picture. They landed nearby, along the Martin Goodman trail. I assume this is probably the same bird that was being seen here back in January.
