Title: Wood thrush? (but seriously)
Post by: mr.sharp-photo on April 27, 2017, 07:44:13 PM
This is throwing me off.
It wasn't singing, so I can't ID it by song. but I'm not sure what this would be other than a wood thrush.
seen today at Ashbridges Bay

Wood Thrush would have extensive spotting down the sides and very rufous upperparts. This is a hermit

yeah, the spotting was the thing that was tricking me. looked small and not "pink" enough to be a hermit. thanks!
