Thanks to the overcast and rainy conditions the parade of birds continues through the yard...
May 3rd
Black-throated Blue Warbler 1
May 4th
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1
Veery 3
Black-and-white Warbler 1
Northern Parula 1
Blackburnian Warbler 1
All birds lately have been noted traveling west to east through the yards. We have a flowering Cherry tree in the yard to the west of us, a flowering Pear tree in our yard, and another flowering Cherry tree in the yard to the east. Also we have a small pond with a fairly noisy waterfall that really brings the birds in. The Kinglet, Parula, Blackburnian, and one Veery all stopped to get a drink today.
Good birding,
Walter :)

This morning I had 2 Indigo Buntings feeding amongst the plants in the yard near the pond. One was an adult male and the other was an immature male. Bird species 111 for the backyard. Also seen was a male Black-throated Blue Warbler.
Good birding,
Walter :)
