Today, Big Frank, my husband and I decided to visit the Burlington area. At Paletta Park notables were:
- Golden-crowned Kinglets
- Song Sparrows
At LaSalle Park Marina, there were:
- A male Wood Duck
- A female Red-breasted Merganser
- 3 Common Mergansers
- Buffleheads
- 21 American Coots
- Cedar Waxwings
- 1 Gadwall
- 2 Horned Grebes
- 3 Common Goldeneye
- and..... 44 Trumpeter Swans (we recorded ALL their tag numbers and will send that information off to Wye Marsh)
At the Burlington Canal Lift Bridge we saw the nesting pair of Peregrine Falcons.

On Friday, my wife and I spent some time at LaSalle, and we had pretty well the same waterfowl, except there were at least a dozen Horned Grebes, some _very_ close in the boat launch area, and one super close female White-winged Scoter that ended up crawling up onto the rocks right where we were sitting.
