Title: Shorebird
Post by: bosh on August 20, 2017, 06:23:04 PM
Ashbridge's Bay this morning - trying to ID the bird on the top right, behind the Least.  It looks big enough for a Baird's, and it seems like the wingtips extend past the tail (although hard to tell for sure because of the blurriness and the dark water). The colouration of the breast seems a bit drab, though.  Unfortunately just got this one lousy, cropped shot.  The full photo is below for scale (bird is in the top right corner).

Any thoughts? Thanks!
