The contrast of scale between the Goldfinch and the Robin is very effective.
The Swainson's opposite the Veery tells a story .... the Veery, dressed casually, forgot it was a formal affair requiring spots.
The cardinal and grosbeak are looking away because they're not talking after an earlier disagreement.
I know, I'm being to whimsical .... somebody STOP ME!

Post by: thouc on October 22, 2017, 01:02:13 AM: Nice pairings, I think your Thrush could be a Gray-cheeked, as it's lacking the warm brown colours and bold, buffy eye-ring of Swainson's Thrush.
