On one Saturday afternoon, two weeks ago while walking along the trail in the woodlot section of Downsview Park I came upon this beautiful White-tailed deer grazing quite comfortably in my presence. A few minutes later she was joined by her three calves - an amazing sight in the middle of a busy urban park. This is not the first time I saw deer there - I see them at least couple of times a year; not exactly sure how do they end up there safely crossing some major city streets.
