I just saw a Swainson's thrush in the backyard yesterday but unlike you,
I didn't get a shot of it. By the time I got out there it was gone and a squirrel
was broadcasting a distress signal. Ruddy tail of yours makes it a Hermit, even
though the eye ring is buffy and there is a hint of a buffy lore. Perhaps a juvenile
Hermit Thrush.

This one was shot through the window, and I didn't notice the wasp until I looked at the picture on the computer.

Lovely capture with that point and shoot camera of yours. I saw quite a few hermit at my backyard this year during their Fall migration.

Thanks, Dinu. The camera has exceeded my expectations.
