Despite the rain and occasional fog, Thicksons Woods was a very active place for birds this Saturday afternoon.
Species of note included:
Brown Creeper (many)
Hermit Thrush (many)
Ruby-crowned Kinglet (many)
Pine Warbler (3+)
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Fox Sparrow (2)
Savannah Sparrow
Eastern Phoebe (many)
Northern Flicker (many)
Eastern Towhee (call only)
Winter Wren (3+)
and the ubiquitous resident Great Horned Owl
