Abel - Black Bellied Plover?
-
Nope.
-
Abel Hairy Woodpecker
-
I'm sorry Kevin but that guess is also incorrect.
I'm not a sadist and cannot bear to have you struggle so acutely.
The previous guess was closer to the mark.
This bird may indeed peck ... sort of, but certainly not on wood
unless there is something worthwhile on driftwood.

Oh man, these last ones are difficult. If I had to take a wild guess, I would say your Delta bird is a Least Flycatcher.
-
Reviewing the mystery bird portraits I see that they are more difficult than I first surmised.
He,he,he,he. Sorry, that was unfair. He,he,he,he.
Delta bird is NOT a Least Flycatcher.
-
Foxtrot - Great Egret?
-
Sorry, Foxtrot is not a Great Egret.
Great would be overstating it.
-
delta = female or fall/winter chestnut sided warbler?
echo = great blue heron throat beard?
foxtrot = common grackle or any one of 500 other birds with similar legs
yes these are getting harder
-
Bird Delta is an immature Chestnut-sided Warbler

I've widened the image to help probably give it away.
Like someone commented, it's a fine line between too hard and too easy.
Sometimes that line is not there at all.
-
Foxtrot - Juvenile Little Blue Heron?
-
Wow, that is an impressive guess, especially since a juvenile Little Blue Heron can have
either lighter or darker legs depending upon its progress toward maturation. I would be
thrilled to report to you a correct ID for Foxtrot, but the reality is not that exciting.
You are perfectly correct in identifying those feet as belonging to the heron family and
not any of 500 other birds. You can discern from the texture of the rock perch that Foxtrot
is MUCH larger than a Grackle. I think you've guessed it now even before I finish this text.
Thanks for your efforts.

Foxtrot - Cattle Egret?
-
Yes, Foxtrot is a Cattle Egret.

is echo the back of a female Hooded Merganser head?
-
Echo sure looks like what you surmised, but alas it is not
a Hooded Merganser, but it DOES float.
-
Female Wood Duck for Echo?
-
Correct ... echo is female Wood duck
