Title: Gray-headed Junco?
Post by: Dinusaur on November 25, 2017, 05:20:18 PM
I was cleaning up my hard drive when found this one that I snapped in Grand Canyon Village, Arizona during my trip there in March of this year. Is this what I am thinking? Is this considered a separate species or is it the same as Dark-eyed Junco we see here? Thanks in advance for ID confirmation. Besides this I also saw a Western Bluebird and a Scrub Jay there.

Yes, the Gray-headed subspecies of Dark-eyed Junco.
