Post by: lovemypt on December 17, 2017, 03:58:28 PM
Most of the members from this group are probably already aware but in just case someone doesn't follow the other forums...there is a Tufted Duck at Ben Machree park in Port Credit area for last 2 days as per report from "Luc Fazio found a Tufted Duck while doing the South Peel Christmas Count .  The bird was re found off  in a raft of three hundred or so scaup "

Happy birding

Spent some time this afternoon at Ben Machree with the Tufted Duck. Good views as he was close to shore with his Scaup buddies. Hope everyone gets to see it.

Great bird for Ontario, I saw one in Newfoundland this past summer.

Great Shot, down right inspiring.
Just the right amount of light on its head.
This shot should be in a book.
Nice down-to-earth technique too.
I wish I could get out that way.
Thanks for posting.
