Title: Are Song sparrows still around?

Hi, this little fellow came to my feeder this morning, foraging among the grass. He is very careful, checking his surroundings a lot. That is why I knew it was not a house sparrow. Are they still around this time of a year? My photoshop collapsed, so I improvised my taking a photo with my cell phone of my camera screen...

I have seen song sparrows in mid-winter on a number of occasions.
I recently posted a winter shot of a healthy-looking young song sparrow
on the Yardbirds thread. Even Chipping sparrows have been reported
on eBird recently.

We had 2 song sparrows in our area of the Peel Halton CBC on the weekend.
